Chomp Chomp is located downtown, right over the Main Street Bridge. If you weren’t looking for it, you’d never find it. Don’t you just love those types of places? I think I first heard of it off of a food blog I follow, I can’t quite remember. If you know where the Burro Bar is in Jacksonville, Florida then you’ll quickly find Chomp Chomp.
Chomp Chomp is owned by three dudes who also own The Fox Diner in Avondale. The Fox is highly talked about among the locals. Chomp Chomp has been opened for a year and even though their decor is lacking on the inside the guys running the show make up for it in generosity. Anyways.. enough said let’s see what we got!
(I got the Jerk Chicken with Pineapple. Those chips are their made in-house Curry Potato Chips. Yum Yum. I wanted another but I felt as if I may get judged for having two meals in one sitting. OH! All of their bread comes from The French Pantry. If you are a foodie and you are in Jacksonville you know what I am talking about when I say The French Pantry. Great everything is produced there.)
(My boyfriend came with me, doesn’t he have the most cutest bottle face?)
He got…(Chicken Satay in a Curry Peanut Sauce. Salad underneath was like a peanut vinaigrette. Sounds weird but his was so delicious. I wish it was in sandwich form. I was surprised he liked his better then mine. )
Let’s just end with, I know that wasn’t my last visit to Chomp Chomp.
If you have been or are going please tell me what you got and how much you liked it?
