Highland Coffee Louisville, Kentucky

On our way back from Indiana Jared wanted to stop at a Trader Joe’s before we got to our next destination. I, of course, was totally for this idea. I thought if we’re going to be stopping, might as well  find a coffee shop to have breakfast before we go. I looked up a few different places and found Highland Coffee with only wonderful reviews. It was only 5 minutes away from Trader Joe’s, so we went for it!Not too hard to miss when you have a huge coffee cup on top of your door. Luckily this is cute and not cheesy. Lots to chose from! Of course you know what I went for?THE CHAI! It was a pretty good chai. Oh and their logo and sleeves? I think is just wonderful. Clever and unique to them. Whoever made this did a very good job.Jared just got a cup of coffee. He had a lot to chose from.We also got breakfast burritos. Their eggs are local cage free eggs. That’s always something nice to write on your board. These were pretty tasty and they had black beans in them, which means they won Jared over. They had many people sitting inside and outside, even if it was a little chilly.

This place was quite quaint. They had local artist’s music available as well as an arcade game. How fun is that? I can tell the locals love it by how many people were there so early in the morning.

Has anyone been here?

Thank you so much for posting such kind words and great pictures. I’m really glad you had a good experience that’s all we want! We make all of our own baked goods and breakfast goodies in house and continue to expand the vegan, gluten-free menu, we use local products when ever available as often as possible. Again thank you for the kind review and hope to see you again!!

This is by far a great ,quirky place. You can’t go wrong on just about anything you get there but the deserts are to die for !!!! Owned and operated by locals, who are also friends of homeless animals, and they are the parents to 4 rescues. You just can’t get any better than that. If you are there in the summer you must give their blueberry tea a try.
