It started in my small hometown in Rensselaer, Indiana. My friend Sarena and I were sitting in the parking lot  of our public library and we were sending out prank texts to people. We kept asking each other what we should say and just kept screaming something clever something clever. So we just said, “Something clever.”  It’s been a running joke when someone asks me what they should say or what they should do I just reply with, “Something clever.”  This is something clever to me.

I recently stumbled across your blog….I’ve enjoyed reading your experience of my neighborhood. Some days, I live like the blocks surrounding my little apartment are a sacred place created just for me. Your posts have reminded me that I live in a shared space- a community. There are other people who are passionate about the places that add so much joy to my life…. Keep blogging 🙂

    • Thank you so much for taking the time to go through my blog. It has been so much fun sharing! If you have any secret places that you’d be willing to share I’d love to check them out! Thanks again, it really means a whole lot!

They are more sacred than secret: the 4th floor of the main library, Dahlias Pour House, veggie riders at the goal post, Beaver St Farmer’s Market… hope you enjoy the exploration!
